Tutor fees assistance

NZFDC Executive Committee member, Kirstin Johnson Coombs, explains about the Tutor fees assistance in this short video.

Tutor Fees Assistance is primarily for secondary school students studying towards an NCEA level qualification, though any child may apply.

  • It provides financial support towards extra tuition in NCEA subjects, up to $400 per half year.
  • This can be undertaken in the school as long as receipts for payment have been provided with the application.
  • Applications are accepted from January to June and July to December each year. Families are welcome to apply for both halves of the year.
  • Closing dates are on the application forms.
  • This form can be used for January to June and July to December in any year. Please ensure you circle the correct period and fill in the year of application. Return the completed form by the appropriate closing date.

Please note for all our financial assistance, families MUST be financial members of an affiliated Parent Group.
